Ultimo

Ultimo is the guardian of the third Makluan Ring. The Makluan race have Ultimo robots to serve as weapons in their wars.

History

Ultimo appears in Hide and Seek, he is the third Makluan ring's guardian in the Temple of Courage. When Gene Khan, as the Mandarin, activated it and the Test of Courage when he tried to attack Ultimo. When it awakened, it came after whoever had the ring it was guarding, walking all the way from Greenland to New York to get it. Tony, as Iron Man, tried to attack it, but every attempt just made it grow bigger. He tried to give the ring back to it, but it kept attacking, because it attacks if he's holding a weapon. Since Tony's entire suit is a weapon, Tony defeated it by turning off his suit, as it was the courageous thing to do. Ultimo shrunk to it's original size and bestowed the ring to Iron Man.  

He was shown again in The Makluan Invasion Part 2: Unite. This Ultimo looks like the first one, but with sections of its outer armor colored with yellow. This Ultimo was released by the Makluan Overlord to take care of the heroes down in New York. It was neutralized when Iron Man flew into its mouth and blew its head off.

• Invulnerability: He cannot be destroyed.

• Force Absorption: If someone attacks Ultimo, he grows in size and power.

• Flight: Ultimo can fly through the use of boot jets.

• Eye Lasers: It can project laser beams from its eyes.
